The Kendal Skyline Ultra is part of the Kendal Mountain Festival, sponsored by The North Face, and organised by Ourea Events.
This is your chance to take part in a runnable, entry-level 50km ultra that visits the remarkable skyline of Kendal. The route is pure trail running visiting the local landmarks used by the local running community. Connecting the summit cairns and zipping along the edges of Cunswick Scar, Scout Scar, Benson Knott, and Helm Hill, linked with wonderful sections passing Sizergh Castle, Levens Deer Park, and following the River Kent. With a brilliant town centre start on closed roads, fantastic trail running in between, and an atmospheric finish at the Kendal Mountain Festival Base Camp, this is an ultra not to be missed.
