You agree that you have made a realistic assessment of your capabilities and are undertaking an event which is appropriate to your mountain skills and fitness. You will need to be prepared for the worst possible conditions and understand that the competition area is isolated and is exposed to serious weather. You agree that although the organisers will ensure that the event is as safe as possible, the nature of the challenge remains signifigant, and your safety is ultimately your own personal responsibility, just as it is with any trip into the hills.
By ticking this box, you are confirming agreement with the Terms and Conditions and you agree to be bound by the Event Rules available on the race website, and you agree to the declaration below when submitting your application. You also accept these terms, declaration, and rules on behalf of any other participants you enter into this event, all of whom have been provided with a copmy and accept them.
I accept full responsibility for my own safety and any injury sustained during the event. These are not the responsibility of the event organiser, their agents or the landowners. I know my limitations and I am experienced enough to make a reasoned decision whether to not start the event or to retire from the event rather than jeopardise my own or other people’s safety.
