Berghaus Dragon's Back Race – Boot Camp

Delcaration

I am an experienced off-road runner and believe that I have sufficient experience to join the Boot Camp Weekend and/or Recce Weekends and declare that: 

• I have experience of scrambling on similar mountains to those featured in the Berghaus Dragon’s Back Race® and confirm that I am capable of safely negotiating easy scrambling terrain in all but the most severe weather conditions;
• I have sufficient off-road running, mountain and ultra-experience to understand the nature of the challenge;
• I will apply sound mountain judgement at all times even if it means compromising my involvement in the Boot Camp Weekend and/or Recce Weekends;
• I accept full responsibility for my own safety and any injury sustained during the Boot Camp Weekend and/or Recce Weekends. These are not the responsibility of the event organiser, their agents or the landowners;
• I know my limitations and I am experienced enough to make a reasoned decision whether or not to start the Boot Camp Weekend and/or Recce Weekends and/or to retire from the Boot Camp Weekend and/or Recce Weekends rather than jeopardise my own or other people’s safety;
